Brooklyn Museum Honors Iris van Herpen at the 2026 Brooklyn Artists Ball

Elite members of the culturati—from film, fashion, art, and music—flocked to Brooklyn Museum for the 2026 Brooklyn Artists Ball. The star-studded evening honored iconoclastic designer Iris van Herpen and the North American debut of her retrospective, “Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses,” which pairs more than 140 haute couture creations with contemporary art and scientific artifacts. From a dazzling Perrier-Jouët champagne and cocktail hour in the museum’s first floor lobby to a candlelit seated dinner, followed by a dance party DJ’d by Chi, the evening unfolded in spectacular fashion.
