MASS MoCA Honors Laurie Anderson and Charlotte Cramer Wagner at the 2026 Art Futures Benefit

MASS MoCA’s 2026 Art Futures Benefit honored acclaimed contemporary artist Laurie Anderson and global philanthropist Charlotte Cramer Wagner with the museum’s Art Futures Award, established to recognize those driving progress through art. The museum’s annual marquee event segued from a celebratory dinner into special performances by Sören Smedvig and Richard Stanmeyer. Following the gala, the Art Futures After Party invited guests outdoors into MASS MoCA's Courtyard C. There, attendees were dazzled by Pamela Hersch’s immersive, large-scale projections. Altogether, the gala raised $670,000 in support of MASS MoCA’s exhibitions, performances, and residencies.
