Even if decorative maximalism isn’t your thing, you would still do well to take note of Gucci’s design and production strategy since Alessandro Michele took the reins in 2015. Under Michele, Gucci has offered products that stand on their own but, collectively, as the seasons accumulate, form a consistent universe. Until now, that universe has consisted of ready-to-wear, accessories, and beauty. But with the launch of Gucci Décor, the brand welcomes furniture and home goods into its roster. Included in the collection are tables, metal trays, regal-looking chairs, folding screens, and more. The items feature Gucci’s rich color palette, and bear its now-signature emblems and motifs. Gucci Décor, like all of Michele’s collections, is yet another extension of past seasons.
