Carolina Blaquier Celebrates Eiras’ Debut Eyewear Collection in Miami

Serendipitously hosted directly after Argentina’s thrilling World Cup win against Cabo Verde, the launch party for the debut eyewear collection of Eiras gathered a festive group of fashion personalities, multidisciplinary creatives, athletes, and more. Founded by Argentinian Olympic skier, photographer, and filmmaker Carolina Blaquier, the emerging luxury house Eiras encouraged attendees to try on the new frames while serving a selection of Argentine wines from Patagonia, including labels such as Bodega Chacra, Humberto Canale, and Fin del Mundo. “At the heart of the space, a sculptural installation reinterpreted the Patagonian landscape through a restrained palette of natural materials,” Blaquier tells Surface. “White sand was formed into subtle mountain contours, evoking snow while quietly acknowledging Miami as the home of the debut. Rising from the sand, candles introduced warmth and depth as the evening unfolded, shifting the atmosphere with the changing light. The installation echoed the visual language of alpine terrain without becoming literal.”
