Christopher John Rogers and Orior Honor Color of Change

On Sept. 13, Orior and Christopher John Rogers hosted a lively cocktail at the furniture brand’s recently opened SoHo showroom to celebrate their latest capsule during New York Fashion Week. The collection consists of four archival Orior chairs—originally designed by the brand’s founder, Brian McGuigan, dating back to 1979—reimagined in vibrant patterns from the award-winning womenswear designer’s repertoire. Proceeds from the event benefited Color of Change, a nonprofit civil rights advocacy organization that uplifts Black communities across the country. Attendees included Ellen Van Dusen, Oliver Haslegrave, Tariq Dixon, Pari Ehsan, Brad Ford, Hannah Traore, Zaldy, and more. Photos by Jackie Lee/BFA.
