Shun

Location: Midtown, New York

Designer: Joseph Dirand

On Offer: Michelin Chef Alain Verzeroli brand-new French-Japanese fusion bar and restaurant taps into local and seasonal ingredients in a green and gold-touched space located above its sister restaurant, Le Jardinier. Tableware imported from France and Japan pairs well with Verzeroli’s planned menus while Shun itself glitters thanks to floor-to-ceiling mirrored glass in an adjacent space. Small bar bites can be taken on the low-set velvet banquettes. The neutral colors compliment the glitz, keeping the entire dining area relaxed and elegant.

Standout Feature: Hidden away from the bar and dining area are two private dining rooms that benefit from with floor-to-ceiling windows, distinctive art work, and lush velvet wallpaper— perfect for more intimate get-togethers or business appointments where the installed TV screens could help with your next presentation.
