Yabu Pushelberg strips the classic wingback chair back to its essential framework for the Timothy Dining Armchair, leaving structure—and architectural clarity—in its place. Available in a range of oak and walnut finishes, the seat takes its name from the T-shaped joint where the back leg meets the arm, a single, visible connection that becomes the collection’s defining gesture. “We wanted to evoke the feeling of being held without being confined,” says co-founder and partner George Yabu. “It feels familiar, yet lighter and more attuned to the way we live now.”
The Timothy Dining Table extends the same design language: rounded legs, curved and angular forms. For Yabu Pushelberg, Timothy is the product of something more than craft. “It didn’t start from scratch,” Yabu says of the studio’s relationship with Stellar Works. “It is the result of a years-long dialogue about proportion, craft, and identifying what was missing in the market.”
