A St. Regis tradition, the Midnight Supper harks back to the days of Gilded Age socialite Caroline Astor—the mother of St. Regis founder John Jacob Astor IV—who would tap select party guests on the shoulder for a convivial late-night meal. The most recent edition found St. Regis Hotels & Resorts and heritage menswear label Drake's gathering impeccably dressed friends to celebrate the latter’s limited-edition Father’s Day capsule. Commencing in the wood-clad library of the St. Regis New York, complete with a dedicated martini bar and a rousing game of billiards, the elegant affair segued into a multi-course seated dinner with a menu of contemporary takes on British classics, followed by a performance from Grammy Award-winning pianist André Chez Lewis. As guests rose to collect servings of Eton Mess, Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris sabered a bottle of champagne for all to enjoy.
