Consuelo Castiglioni’s fall collection for Marni is a case study in rich fabric, sinuous tailoring, and variant patterns. On this coat, blue bugle beading—whose organic motif is the result of a distorted digital print—was hand-stitched to a black and white glen plaid, and finished with a white mink collar. The unlikely combination of couture embroidery and checked wool is all the more striking up close.
