Dorsia Hosts a Serpentine Summer Party 2025 Pre-Dinner for Giuseppe Penone

In honor of Italian artist Giuseppe Penone’s current exhibition at Serpentine South Gallery, “Thoughts in the Roots,” Dorsia founder Marc Lotenberg and Serpentine Galleries artistic director Hans Ulrich Obrist and CEO Bettina Korek welcomed a coterie of art world elite to The Twenty Two in London. Enveloped in the subterranean level’s lavish red interiors, beneath a ceiling of rounded mirrors, guests—including Penone, Gagosian Rome founding director Pepi Marchetti Franchi, artists Subodh Gupta and Bharti Kher, and more—gathered for a Ruinart champagne reception, a multi-course culinary escapade, and enthusiastic discourse over the contemporary art institution’s Serpentine Summer Party the next day.
