A Lively Dinner for Lauren S. Thompson’s Debut Collection

On Nov. 28, an intimate group of collectors and notables from the art and design spheres gathered at Spring in New York City to celebrate Lauren S. Thompson’s debut Tetrastella Collection in collaboration with Simple Flair, Metis PR, and Surface. The bold shapes and lines in Tetrastella represent the California designer’s quest to capture energy patterns and frequencies in geometric forms, particularly the tetrahedron. The series took pride of place at Spring’s ground-floor gallery, where the group perused the collection before heading upstairs for a lively dinner at the Spring restaurant. There, guests sipped Via Carota Craf Cocktails while Thompson spoke about Tetrastella’s inspirations and announced that her brand’s official launch would occur during Frieze Los Angeles in February. Notables in attendance included Rafael Prieto, Stefano Giussani, Donna Redel, Vittorio Calabrese, Marcia Levy, Scott Drevnig, and more. Images courtesy of Spring.
