Since launching in 2018, the independent home and gift show Shoppe Object has earned accolades for its sharp-eyed curation of rising brands and need-to-know makers with a craftsmanship ethos. Part of the semiannual design fair is Showcase Japan, the Japan External Trade Organization’s (JETRO) presentation of 25 homegrown brands that represent the best of the country’s storied design heritage.
