Over/Under Kiosks

Over/Under is a pair of curvy kiosks serving cold beer at New York’s historic Seaport District. The kiosks, made from 600 aluminum tubes, were conceived from a solid block that was split by a sinuous curve to achieve two complementary volumes.

A mix of materiality, from unfinished concrete floors to more refined wood, steel, and leather finishes, gives the space a compelling edge that is both raw and sophisticated.

SAHMRI - South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute

The South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute’s sculptural building aims to inspire its scientist occupants, who enjoy soaring, light-drenched atriums and flexible workspaces. The transparent façade is inspired by the skin of a pine cone, and responds to the position of the sun.

West Hotel, Sydney

Guests at Sydney’s boutique hotel are welcomed by this sumptuous terrazzo bar, whose trapezoidal volumes meticulously align with the floor patterns. The guest rooms and four suites use the same rich materiality and dark tones to allude to the coastal city's industrial influence, and to provide a reprieve from its warm climate.

Plenary Workspace, Melbourne

This workspace for an infrastructure company is a celebration of craftsmanship and refinement that reflects the client’s culture and values. The residential-inspired design emphasizes soft and natural materials, ample daylight and dramatic artworks.

The Amberly

Holding the intersection of Brooklyn Heights, Downtown Brooklyn, and DUMBO, the Amberly is Woods Bagot’s tallest US tower. Its patterned terracotta façade echoes the materiality of the local brownstones, while providing residents with alternating privacy and spectacular views.
